Common Area Swimming Pools
Some villas in Al Raha Gardens have their own private pool. There are no common area pools within the Al Raha Gardens development.
Gymnasium
A fully equipped gymnasium was recently opened for residents in Gardens Plaza. The gym has the latest fitness equipment from “Cybex” including 4 running machines, 2 exercise bikes, 3 cross trainers and a large selection of free weights and machine weights. Other fitness equipment including medicine balls, skipping ropes, mats etc are all available. Group classes are available in the adjoining room. The gym is free to use for Al Raha Gardens residents and is managed by the ARG Property Management team.
Onsite Security
The entire Al Raha Gardens project is being protected 24/7 by onsite security. Security guards patrol the common areas, Gardens Plaza and each of the entrances to the different precincts. The security services are currently contracted to Certis.
Secure parking
Each townhouse or villa comes with its own car port or remote controlled garage door for secure off street parking. There is also significant parking available next to most homes including designated visitor parking. The roads at Al Raha Gardens are well signed and safety measures such as speed humps and warning signs close to children’s play areas are present.
Lanscaped Gardens
Al Raha Gardens is known for its lush gardens, lawn areas and landscaped paths and running tracks. The ARG Property Management team is constantly maintaining the gardens making sure they are well watered, trimmed and maintained all year round.
Retail Shops
Gardens Plaza which has a total of 16 retail outlets recently opened in 2011. The retail centre has four food outlets which includes Telepizza, Zyng Asian Grill, Subway and the world famous Jones the Grocer. Also available is a supermarket, fashion outlets for women and children, beauty salons for men and women, dry cleaners, pharmacy, money exchange and an optical store. There are two ATM’s at Gardens Plaza at the rear of the centre.
Children's Play Area
There are 20 children's play areas located throughout Al Raha Gardens. Each one is surrounded by landscaped gardens, and most have shading for the hotter months. These areas are a popular meeting place for the kids in the community during the afternoons, evenings and weekends. These play areas are split for use by age groups, 3-6 years, 7-9 years and 9-12 years.
Outdoor play equipment has been installed to all of the play areas in Al Raha Gardens. Soft surface flooring, cubby houses, slippery slides and swings are available for the kids to enjoy. Al Raha Gardens Property Management team ensures they are well maintained and safe at all times.
RESIDENTS MEETING ROOM
The large room next to the gymnasium currently used for group classes also acts as a community hall/meeting room for residents. Currently the room is rented out to businesses for activities such as dance classes and in the future it will be used for community events and meetings with residents.
Common Change Rooms
Located next to the gymnasium in the Gardens Plaza Shopping Centre is men’s and women’s change rooms. Equipped with lockers, showers and bathroom facilities, these change rooms are available for use by all residents.
Automated Irrigation System
Al Raha Gardens is well known for its lush green gardens and landscaping. Servicing these areas throughout the community is an automated irrigation system. This helps reduce manual labour but most importantly it significantly reduces water consumption. Good for the environment and good for service charges.
Security Cameras
There are 36 security cameras located throughout the service compound and all entrance gates in Al Raha Gardens. The video footage is monitored 24/7 in a central command centre by the security firm Certis and all video feeds are recorded if needed in the future.
Fully Equipped Kitchens
Each townhouse or villa in Al Raha Gardens comes equipped with the latest kitchen appliances. This includes contemporary cabinets, oven, range hood and stove. Residents are required to install their own fridges and dishwashing machines, but all of the connections are ready for installation.
Large Balconies and Terraces
To take advantage of the open spaces and landscaped gardens, all of the townhouses and villas at Al Raha Gardens come with balconies, terraces or decks. Residents can enjoy the outdoor areas by cooking from their own BBQ or just relaxing with friends and family.
Waste Separation and Recycling
Al Raha Gardens was one of the first villa communities in the UAE to recycle their rubbish. Recycling bins are provided to each townhouse or villa plus there are large recyclable bins available on the northern service road, close to the ARG Property Management office.
Community Kiosks
There are three community kiosks located in Al Raha Gardens. These kiosks, run by Sky Seven Supermarket, are great for residents who need to quickly stock up on the basics such as water, bread or milk and for that late night snack.
