Swimming Pools

Once completed, there will be eight (8) common area swimming pools at Al Muneera, one for each of the eight residential apartment towers. All of the common area swimming pools have adjoining children's pools. The pools will be surrounded by contemporary pool lounges, tables and chairs with large shade cloths over the deck. All the pools at Al Muneera will be temperature controlled which means you can swim all year round. The pools will be open from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week and each pool will be patrolled by trained lifeguards.

Gymnasium

There are twelve (12) gymnasiums planned for Al Muneera. They will be located in the Al Rahba, Al Maha and Al Nada towers. They will contain the latest fitness equipment including treadmills, exercise bikes, free-weights and machine weights. Residents will be able to use the gyms in the community once completed. The first gymnasiums are expected in Al Rahba 1 and Al Rahba 2 and Al Maha 1 and Al Maha 2. Aldar Estates expect to have them fitted out and operational by the end of 2011.

Onsite Security

The entire Al Muneera project is protected 24/7 by onsite security. Security guards patrol the common areas and each of the entrances to the different areas of the community. The company providing the security services for Al Muneera will be SecuriGuard.

Secure parking

There will be a significant amount of secure parking at Al Muneera. On the island side of the development there is a total of 1,254 car parking spaces. Each townhouse and villa in Al Muneera has an allocated three car spaces within a secure garage with remote controlled door. The secure parking for residents of the apartments is all located at basement level while visitors park on mezzanine level on the island. The residents of each apartment tower can park their cars directly under their building and there is lift access directly to their floor. Each car park is well signed and colour coded and secured by security boom gates. A paid parking system will soon be introduced for visitors to the community.

Lanscaped Gardens

There is a significant amount of landscaping and grassed areas throughout Al Muneera. This includes garden beds located around the common area pools, under each of the towers, grassed areas around the pools and landscaping along the pathways throughout the project. The gardens at Al Muneera are currently maintained by Desert Landscape Co.

Private Beach

One of the most unique features of Al Muneera is its large secluded beach. The beach which is located in front of the retail promenade will be restricted to the residents and guests of Al Muneera and to retail visitors. Residents will be able to stroll or lie on their own sandy beach while they enjoy the views across to Yas Island and Yas Marina Circuit. The beach will be patrolled by trained lifeguards from the hours of 6am to 6pm seven days a week. The beach area will be complete with sun lounges, palm trees and a wood decked promenade for relaxation with family and friends. The beach is due for completion by early 2012.

Security Cameras

There are 253 security cameras located throughout the common areas and most entrances and exits in Al Muneera. The video footage is monitored 24/7 in a central command centre by the security company, SecuriGuard and all video feeds are recorded if needed in the future.

Fully Equipped Kitchens

Each apartment in Al Muneera comes equipped with the latest kitchen appliances. This includes contemporary cabinets, oven, cooktop, range hood, stove and dishwashers. All apartments come with built-in fridges and freezers while the laundries come with a combined washer/dryer. The user manuals for all the appliances in the apartments have been uploaded to the Community Portal and so are available for residents electronically.

Balconies and Deck

Most of the apartments in Al Muneera have balconies, timber decks or large terraces which all take advantage of the views and cool breezes of the Arabian Gulf. The outdoor areas have been designed to take advantage of the views up and down the Al Raha Beach coast and across to Yas Island. Unlike most developments in the region, apartments at Al Muneera have generous outdoor living areas. The townhouses and beachside villas enjoy outdoor living areas over all three levels.

Intercom System

The video intercom system installed and in use at Al Muneera is an "Elvox" system, the latest in security intercom systems. The intercom system within the apartments includes a small TV screen showing video of people requesting access to their apartments. Residents can allow access to their visitors from the apartment with the press of a button.

Common Change Rooms

Located next to each gymnasium in Al Muneera will be changing rooms for men and women. Equipped with lockers, showers and bathroom facilities, these change rooms are available for use by all residents.

Concierge

Each building in Al Muneera is greeted by 24-hour concierge personnel. The concierge services at Al Muneera are currently contracted out to "MAB". The concierge personnel assist residents with any enquiries, assist with moving in and out, welcome residents and guests and are generally the resident's first point of contact for all building-related matters.

Retail Shops

Once completed, Al Muneera will have over 2,930 m2 of retail space on the island side of the development, located in the shopping centre building right on the waterfront. The retail building is located over two levels and will eventually house well known brands in furniture and homeware, fashion outlets and beauty stores. There is also over 770 m2 of dedicated food and beverage retail space reserved for restaurants and cafes, the first of which has been let out to Lilly's Café. A supermarket and café will also be open on the ground floor of the Al Noor commercial building.

Lift/Elevators

There are 46 elevators throughout the Al Muneera development – six (6) in each tower of Al Rahba, four (4) in each tower of Al Maha, three (3) in each tower of Al Sana and six (6) in each tower of Al Nada. There is also another five (5) servicing the commercial building Al Noor and three (3) servicing other areas of the project such as the retail building. The elevators service up to the fourteenth floor, which is the standard height of all towers at Al Muneera. The elevators were supplied and are serviced by "Kone".

Children's Pool

There is a small children's pool next to each of the eight (8) community pools in Al Muneera. Like the main pool, the children's pool will be open from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week and is patrolled by trained lifeguards.

Excercise Room

Located next to the gymnasium in Al Maha 1 and Al Maha 2 will be an exercise room that will be used for activities such as dance classes, aerobics classes and group exercise classes.

Children's Play Area

Located on the island side of the development will be two children's play areas which will be fitted with CLOXX multi-activity equipments. Access to the children's play areas will be restricted to Al Muneera residents and their visitors.
